Gastro-tech start-up SO'USE invests in igetnow

The close cooperation between both companies promotes faster expansion of market share to consolidate their position as leading self-ordering providers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Leipzig, April 5, 2022: The gastro-tech startup SO’USE has invested a high six-figure sum in igetnow. The Kiel-based company is one of Germany's most experienced providers of self-ordering platforms for individual and system catering.

The investment establishes a close partnership, with both companies working together under the SO’USE brand from now on.

More and more companies are expanding their service range to include self-ordering and self-checkout, while the hospitality industry is increasingly open to these solutions.

With this investment, SO’USE strengthens its position as the leading provider in the DACH region. Besides expanding the shared customer base, the company cites knowledge transfer and joint product optimization as key factors for this strategic move.

"We expect our investment in igetnow to drive strong growth across all vertical markets."

Ben Wollscheid, Managing Director SO'USE

SO’USE was founded in 2018 and is the leading provider of self-ordering solutions in the DACH region with more than 500 customers, including well-known restaurant chains. The company completed its seed funding last July with participation from Hanse Ventures and several prominent angel investors.
